Hi Jan,

The flowers and grain look great. I love the paint job too.

I've been squeezing in a quick mantel order on sugar pine while waiting for my black walnut blanks to get glued up for the last 2 mantel to finish the order from the guy in New York. He's ordered a total of 5 mantels. Those last two have to ship before July 20th. I'm going to be working late some nights but those 2 mantels are over $7K so it is worth the extra effort. Another order just popped on a $5.2K mantel for a customer in Colorado. That one is a rush job too so I hope to be working on it at the Country Thunder show in Wisconsin July 18 through 22nd if I can talk the guy, who's hiring me, into letting me work on my own thing. I'm down to 3 mantels in stock and I'm trying to build my mantel inventory for upcoming shows or I won't have anything to sell. This past few months the business has been crazy. It sure is a blessing from God. Maybe the economy is beginning to come back? It would be nice to finish up the year in the black before I retire.

I'm getting good at building plywood shipping crates for the mantels.

Sharon and I can't wait to see you and Thea here at the GOW in September.
