What do you think? Is it worthwile to try and finish it off or not. I know
that this is a pretty hard-wood. Any opinions on if I should try to continue
or not? I realize that I should of probably attempted something more simple
with a chunk of basswood to start but what the heck, I just dove in. Did I bite
off more than I can chew here or what?
I have made a career off biting off more than i can chew, but somehow they
work out in the end. I say go for it. whats the worst thing that can happen.
You can learn about a new wood, you can learn to keep your tools sharp???
when some one suggests a wood for you to use, it is just that, a
suggestion. challenging yourself is never a bad thing. safe carvers make safe
carvings. good carvers make the wood bend to their will.
