[Woodcarver] Cupping

Mike:

Before I used a jointer to edge my boards, I used only a 15" hand
plane. With it I was able to apply a slight bevel to the edges of my
boards so that the panel would have camber. It's not the easiest
thing to do, but with a sharp plane, a bench vice and perhaps a jig
to steady the plane, you could joint the edges of the boards by hand.
