Hi all,

I'm coming out of the woodwork (no pun intended) recovering from a nasty lung infection.

Because of that, I have had a CAT scan of my lungs-not because of carving related problems-yet. I am undergoing pulmonary testing at Denver's National Jewish Research Center-pulmonary and allergy special hospital.
I have what they describe as 'ground glass' type artifacts in my lungs among other things.
Has anyone had any experience with this type of problem?? The studies aren't finished but I am not waiting.
No real breathing problems yet but I'm taking a clue from this thread and working on it.

For other reasons, I haven't carved in several years and am now ready to get back at it, YAAY!

Many thanks,

I got smart recently and purchased a Jet dust collector, I use just for power carving, still use a good dust mask as well.

Hope you can find a solution and keep carving with the power. I arms hurt when I just use knives to much so switched to power carving a few years ago.
