Jan, I sure would like to participate in your chair class at the GOW.
But before I firm up a committment I would like some more
information...I am posting this here, because others may have the same
question..The carving in the chair is considerabley larger than I have
ever tried. Most of what I have done is 2" to 5" tall maximum; and in
the round at that. My tools are palm gouges and V tools, and knives.
If I sign up, do I need to bring larger tools? And, do you think that
moving from small in the round carving to the larger chair carving
would be a problem?
Larger tools are helpful and a mallet
BUT NOT necessary
I'll bring some extra tools myself
DO NOT go and buy large just for this occasion (BD will have LOTS for ya if needed)
I am ONLY bring wood for 12 students
And TOM its time that you spread your wings and be dareful
Thanks Tom H
