I took a class from Charley last year and learned how to make her kind of flowers. They are gorgeous. I think a relief like this is much more practical for giving a flower. These are not easy though, and not a good beginners project.

hello everyone,

does anyone know how to make or carve a simple wooden flower.
not like in the tutorials but like the ones you can give like a real flower.
i tried making one but somehow i can not make the petals stay or connect.
has anyone ever tried? any ideas? its a good mothers day project that i would like to someday teach to do to some kids here.

harry
