Welcome to the List!!
I definitely prefer hand tools to power tools, but have been known to 
use the Foredom, Arbortech or reciprocating carver from time to 
time.  The most important thing is that you are enjoying what you are 
doing.  Beyond that it's whatever you need to get the job done!
