Hello Chris,
You could find used carving tools at garage sale OR ask somebody who are
not using for some reason. Use them for awhile to gain carving experience
and knowledge, in the future you will know what tools to buy first and buy more
later. If you are confusing to understand the subject profiles, try sculpt
them in plastic clay. That would give you great advantage than wasting woods
and time. Don't be afraid to learn them all at once, one step at a time.Take
your time, never rush them. Happy carving and good lucks.
