Hi Donna,
Another question for the list... Has any one tried chalk pastels? One of our carving group carvers has been using it and the couple of things he has brought to show look good but will the color last or fade more. It is very translucent and pale in color. I believe he then sprays or brushes polyurthane (?sp) over it. And yet I can't help but wonder of the lasting power of chalk. So what do ya think??

. Should I add color- or not? I was thinking of royal blue and gold. Oil pencil or acrylic- not sure yet. I was thinking of putting the finish on first- and then adding color. Assuming we cannot attach photos on this list I'll send a couple of 'in process' photos for Bill to put somewhere for you to see.
All advice will be appreciated- if not followed- LOL Donna Menke
