Bill
What a great carving. The carving is subtle but speaks volumes.
I read that it started as a 2 inch thick slab, but how hick is the base where the text is? It would appear to be less than a 1/2 inch?
Alson, what type of leaves are those that are intertwined on the sides?
Sola Deo Gloria.

Blessings and Peace
Lynn

Gentle Subscribers:

I've just posted another carving to my website.
It is located at:
http://www.wwwoodcarver.com/ChristanCarvings3/2Chronicles2/2Chronicles.html

This is a rather unusual carving in that it is almost entirely text. But that is what the customer wanted, and I think it turned out quite well.
