[Woodcarver] Last call for GOW goodies ...

Awesome news Peter and Marilyn. So great to hear that you're getting better. 
It will be great seeing you next year.

Your good friends Peter Benson and Em, from England, have sent us a cane to 
raffle off at the GOW. There are 16 segments all dealing with an English 
theme. Peter did the cane topper. The topper is Bangers (sp?) (3 hotdog size 
sausages on and open face bun). Peter made the foot as a football 
(sockerball). I will have to get pictures posted of all the cane segments. 
We're also putting together 3 more canes to raffle off. The toppers were 
made by Ol' Don, Bob Mau and myself. All the feet were made by Sandie Roosa, 
one being her bare foot, another a work boot with leather laces and the 
third a ladies cowboy boot. We'll have to post pics when all the segments 
come in.

The fun is just beginning. Ol' Don and Sandie are here. The big top is up. 
The place is beginning to look like a party is going to happen. We've got 49 
seminars scheduled for the 4 days beginning next Tuesday September 18. We 
getting ready for our Opening Ceremony Monday night. The instructors will 
have time to set up their seminar area so we can decide which seminars to 
take. A few, like Jan's seminar, are already full.

Watch Camper John's web site www.camperjohn.com/gow  for pictures. Last year 
he posted pics at the end of each day. I'm hoping that he does the same this 
year if he has the time.
