  Ft. Lewis, Washington is one of the Vet rehab centers.  If you're interested in doing something there let me know.  I think I can get the name and contact information for the Chaplin.   The carving club I belong to works through the Chaplin for our cane project.

    Dear Fellow Carvers,



    IÂ'm home from California with sad news.  The carving class for the disabled veterans was canceled due to one of my students committing suicide. Please remember him and his family in your prayers. We never got a chance to get the class started and they closed off that area in Camp Pendleton for investigation. We are hopping to get the class rescheduled in June. Meanwhile IÂ'm trying to line up the same type of class for disabled veterans here. This was a tragic turn of events.



    We spent the extra time visiting family.
