Hi Chris,

We arrived home 5:00 pm Monday evening. A long drive but well worth
it. (smiling) It was so nice to see so many friends and meet new
ones. Some of them I'd talked to online for years but actually met
for the first time.

We had a couple of good classes and a most wonderful time. It would
be difficult to not have a good time with the Whillock's. You folks
put on a 5-star event ...you ARE a 5-star event (smiling).

Thank you for putting on the Carv-Fest for all of us to enjoy. It is
a ton of work! We appreciate it.

For some reason I did not receive this topic in Email until your
reply to Gene. It didn't go to filtered mail either. Cyber-space

>> Hello All!

>>

>> For those of you that got the chance to visit with us during Carv-

>> Fest '08 (Faribault, MN) we hope you had an enjoyable time! The

>> festival drew hundreds of carvers from all over the country and

>> people were keeping busy as ever. We appreciate the support you have

>> given us and look forward to next year's festival. We really missed

>> Joe Dillet, Tony Erickson and Bob Mau, regulars that were unable to

>> join us this year.

>>

>> We had some unexpected fun ... Jack Frost playing his "Bones" during

>> the music jam (man can that guy play!) and Lakota George sharing his

>> Lakota style music and flute making demos.

>>

>> Over 33 mini-seminars went off without much of a hitch ... the

>> teachers were working hard and the students seamed to really enjoy

>> themselves. The raffle items were a big hit, including the Marv

>> Kaisersatt carving that was won by Don L. from Rochester.

>>

>> Thank you for making our 4th festival a success ...

>>
