Hehehehe.  Not at all, Gene.  It was fun to spend time with  
you ...and you were a perfect student.  You picked up the how's and  
why's of fan-carving very well.  It is all a mechanical process.  You  
understood the theory.  Now it is your responsibility to go forth and  
multiply   ...birds, that is. (smiling)  It is through people like  
you fan-carving will live on.
