Even some veggie oils work i hear

Hi Paul,

Veggie oil is not a good idea because it will turn rancid. This will give 
the wood a strange taste and smell. Salad bowl oil is not a protein base and 
should prevent veggie oil from penetrating the wood. Always hand wash the 
utensil. Salad bowl oil needs to be reapplied periodically, depending on how 
much it is used.
