Wow, Ned, sounds like you've got a lot of work cleaning up. Illinois is a long way to tote that wood so, thanks for the offer but I'll pass. I hope things get back to normal for you soon and you're back working in your shop.

I am about to start working on cleaning up after Tropical Storm Fay. We just got power back after 42 hours without. If anyone needs wood, I have a large pine that snapped off about 30 feet up; the upper 50 feet missed my studio/workshop by all of four feet and demolished my wife's potting shed. (It's about two feet in diameter if someone wants to chainsaw carve a totem pole out of the "stump.") Three other large trees, mostly water oaks, also snapped 12 to 40 feet up. We had over two feet of rain and we are still getting some back-side showers; my dock was under 4 -5 feet of water at the peak but the lake is now beginning to recede. Prior to Fay, I was working on a guitar/treble clef spoon in butternut for my musician son's 45th birthday.
