[Woodcarver] First day of Winter (chat)

Hi all,

I don't live in Florida but I feel like I could be living there for the last
week.  61 degrees when I awoke this morning and 62 Degrees as I peck away.  

I lived on the Nebraska plains for five years and decided I was too old to
shovel snow so I moved south.  In all honesty, I miss the snow and crisp
mornings.  But I will compensate by walking Code down Onslow beach.

Hey Sally,
Afraid I can't help you out from the northeast!  As I write this, it is 4
degrees and has started to snow.  The winter storm warning has been
cancelled, but we are now under blizzard warnings until around 6 PM tomorrow
  We're expecting 40+ mph winds, with gusts to 65, and  from 10 to 18" of
snow by the time it is over.  :)  We are celebrating the Winter Solstice in
true Maine style! :)
