I just finessed a relief carving of Geese in flight
Carved in basswood
size is 28" x 18" x 2 " oval shaped
this is the second time I carved one like it 2 years ago
I used Birch that time and it worked better and crisper than basswood
Picture can be seen in my #3 PT Album
I thank Bill Judt (and DEBBIE)for letting me come to his studio for a whole week 2 years ago and got me started in HIS type of relief carving
It sure gives me a better insight on relief carving
Merry Christmas
