Thanks Jan & Donna!

I will look for the book at either Treeline or WoodCraft (our two local
carving stores) and buy it. I will then get what patterns I need, and
donate it to the Woodcarving Group for PTSD Veterans at the Salt lake City
VA Hospital, where I am both a member of the group and a volunteer.

I also want to say that I thoroughly enjoy being a part of this group. I
have gotten several good ideas and suggestions. I have always been
interested in woodworking, and because of some of the things I am dealing
with as a PTSD veteran, was referred to the woodcarving group, where not
only do I learn more about woodcarving (we have an Excellent instructor), I
also get the opportunity to work with and get to know fellow veterans.

As a side note, I am always looking for easy carving patterns for myself
and the other veterans in the group and will pass them on to Mike Scott (
the Recreation Therapy Director). My contaact info follows:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and
degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is
worth war is much worse.
