Hey Lil' Joe,

My plan is to "close the business, resolve to work less and have more fun"
... that will start Jan. 1st and last until the morning of Jan. 2nd.!

Oh well, it will be good while it lasts. LOL!

Hi fellow carvers,

What are your woodcarving related New Year's resolutions?

Last year I closed the business, resolving to work less and have more fun.
That worked out so well I'm making the same resolution again. I'm still
carving. I'm currently working on some large church carvings but at a much
slower pace. They just broke ground in November and won't be ready for them
for awhile.

I plan to continue teaching disabled veterans here in my shop and at Camp
Pendleton.

We're also making new plans. My wife and I are putting together a small
woodcarving museum that we hope to have open around September 2009.

We're also organizing GOW 2009 (Gathering Of Woodcarvers) for the week of
September 28, 2009.

What are your plans, goals, dreams for the new year?
