[Woodcarver] Eagle Head Project (chat)

Members of our carving club (Northern Virginia Carvers) do the heads on  
various woods, some painted some natural.
 
Clearly these are different.
 
 
Members of our woodturning club (Capital Area Woodturners) makes the  shafts. 
 Different turners, different designs.  
 
The basic shaft length remains constant as do the holes and tenons for  
mounting the heads.
 
Most of the shaft has an area for adding, using a  woodburner, recipient's 
name and other pertinent info.
 
Other than that, there are no restrictions for decorating the shaft.
