Actually graphite paper is not the same as carbon paper.
Graphite marks can be removed once a pattern has been established.
Carbon marks do not come off.
This may not be as important for a carving, but if you are doing pyrography the use of carbon paper is deadly.
Most craft supply stores sell graphite or transfer paper including Michael's and Wal mart.

Have you tried Staples?? It is also called tracing paper and carbon paper.
