Hi Lynn;
Yep as you say lots of stuff listed under woodcarving on YouTube, some that 
many might find interesting is on flat plane carving by Gene Messer, look 
for Whittler0507, he has one series with six parts on carving a small 
figure , another single one on just a head and another four part series on 
carving a cowboy boot.
