Evening Bill,
It seems like I have been on the list forever, but like all things, the list has evolved as I have so time has blurred.
I was part of the cane exchange in 1998 so there is proof positive I was here in that year. Maybe a year or two earlier? In the beginning, I gleaned every bit of information I could from every carver. I guess I was a real sponge. These days, I even think of answering questions sometimes, but only for a moment, as others have far more depth than I so I leave it to them to answer the questions.
I still find checking on the list an enjoyable part of my day and still find a ton of interesting and informative stuff but enjoy seeing and hearing from the people the most. Friends who are really non-friends, kind of spooky to feel so close without really having met or had conversations. And I ramble on.....
Keep up the great work Bill...my contribution is well spent...hope to see you at one of your classes one day....not carving as much as I'd like and may need surgery on my arm in February but mentally....I'm all carver.
