can ask.
Just a suggestion, you might like to get the list in digest format. You 
will receive only one email
and you can scroll through it pretty quickly and only read the posts 
that are of interest to you.

Another suggestion is to visit the web sites of some of the carvers on 
the list. You will be impressed with the
talent that is represented. Also, some of the carvers have carving tips 
and instructions included on their sites.

Many of he contributors to the list sell carving tools and supplies as 
well and can answer a lot of your questions
concerning what tools are good for different types of carving.

Never hesitate to ask a question no matter how trivial it may seem to 
you. The people on this list will answer
your question and never criticize the fact that you asked.
