[Woodcarver] dripple and band saw question

I think Jet and Grizzly are both good saws for all kinds of woodworking and carving. 
  Spend the extra money to get the 6" riser block kit. It is well worth it.
  I have a 14" Jet with riser block and am very pleased with it.

For the money, I don't think you can beat a grizzly. Although fans of Jet
will tell you they wouldn't own a Grizzly. I am very happy with my Griz. I
got the 6" expander block and can make a full 12" cut.
