No offense to the very fine vendors we have frequenting this list but the internet is often used to complain about vendors. I just had a marvelous exchange with Mountain Heritage Crafters. The first is my email to them. The second is their response. The quality and completeness for something that wasn't an off-the-shelf request astounded me. Notice the dates and times.

Needless to say, I placed an order that week.
(if you reply to this email, be sure to cut it down - it is longer than I like to send to mailing lists but needed to be complete)

Subject: Foredom questions

First question:
Do you carry brushes for F series Foredom motors?

Second:
You carry the RA series burrs - they are hard to find. Through a strange link I ended up in an older section of your website that doesn't seem current. There was a kit with a number (maybe 100) that was all your vanadium burrs for $9.95. Is that kit still available?

Last:
On the 55A handpiece, the manual shows 3 places to oil it - the one I
can't find is near the bend. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Steve

Dear Steve,

Below are the answers to your questions in the order in which they were
received.

1) We can get the brushes for the F series Foredom Motors. We are still
adding accessories to our online catalog. Thank you for inquiring about
this product. If there is any other Foredom product that you would like
that we have not yet added to our site, don't hesitate to ask. We are here to assist you.

We have now added this product to our site in response to your inquiry.
Please click the link below to go directly to this item in our new cart:

2) We updated our listing for RA Latch type burs today. Few vendors carry this line, and Foredom has made changes in the price and availability of some of these burs. Our website now reflects updated changes, so purchase from our new catalog with confidence. In regards to the vanadium kit, Foredom informed us this morning that the kit was discontinued. We have put together our own kits and passed some savings along to our customers. In addition to the complete kit of all latch type burs, you will now see complete kits of only the vanadium, red aluminum oxide, green silicon carbide, and plated diamond.

Below is a link to the complete kit of vanadium latch type burs:

Also, below is a link to get an overview of all the latch type burs
available:

3) I have attached a pdf file with instructions on oiling the 55A handpiece.
This may be the same information that you already have. If you need further assistance, I recommend calling the factory direct at 1-800-441-0625.

Let us know if you have any more questions. We look forward to processing your order and serving your Foredom needs.

Happy Carving,

Phillip Barton
