Gentle Subscribers:
Even though I have a son in the Canadian armed forces, I am inclined
to ask that we drop this thread, and carry on any further discussion
of it off-list.
Not that it is an inappropriate topic at a time when our nations are
at war, but that there are better places to carry on the discussion
than on the Woodcarver Mailing List.
Sorry to be slow in "moderating". My wife and I just came back from a
five day road trip to Jasper Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies. We saw
a lot of chainsaw carving, BTW, some of it very well done, though I do
not know who the carvers were.
I will be at the lake for most of the summer, and will have access to
the internet via a dial-up connection. In Saskatchewan they use barb-
wire fences the carry the signal, and each time cows brush up against
the fences, the signal degrades substantially... even worse if it's
raining and the cattle are wet.
But I will check the list twice daily, to keep you folks in line <grin>
Blessings and Peace,
Bill
