Hi Vickie,

I'm happy to hear things are better with you. This week I have been working a show at the DuPage County Fair. The North Suburban Carvers have a large booth and I have 5 carvers showing with me on the stage in the large commercial building. Today (Saturday) is my last day there because I'm busy on Sunday with family, community and church activities. There will be 4 carvers on stage Sunday.



GOW 2008 is the week of September 15. We outgrew my shop so we're having it at the Sandwich Fair grounds 2 miles from my shop. You can get all the information about classes, camping and activates at Camper John Compton web site. http://www.camperjohn.com/GOWmain.html Make sure you view the GOW 2008 link for the new information. Then look at the pics of the last GOW's. It will bring back wonderful memories.

Bob Mau says that some classes are full and others are filling up. Camper John is trying to keep the web site up to date as they fill. I suggest if there is a class you would like to take get your reservations in. The instructions of who to contact for camping, classes and costs are in the web site. The way things are going I'm guessing that we'll have between 150 to 200 students this year. The GOW has been growing about 10% per year. This will be our 8th gathering.
