[Woodcarver] [Fwd: Out door carvings]

Hi Everyone,
   As to out door carvings finishes,  Has anyone else tried pressure 
treated green lumber?
My daughter likes the chair I did at GOW 2007 in Jan's class and that 
size lumber is not available where I live.  I glued and screwed 2 - 
2x8's together and am going to try it.
