Thank You guys for your answers. I did not mean to stir a hornets nest.
I will,  for my own peace of mind, and in  respect for  the art form,  
request permission from the writers of the articles in the
magazines and the instructional books which I purchase before an attempt 
to sell is made. This appears to be the safe and morally correct
thing to do.
