[Woodcarver] Terry Nees

Dear Friends in Carving -

It is with great sadness that I pass on the sad news that Terry Nees  
passed away Wednesday evening in Edmond, OK,  where he and Annette  
have lived the past several years.  As many of you may know,  Terry  
was proud to have been a Master Sergeant in the US Marine Corps  
(1961-1981.)

Terry was a member of the very first W3E Secret Pal exchange,  and the  
raccoon carving that he sent me sits proudly on a shelf in my shop.    
Terry was also one of the fortunate few to attend the very first Great  
Pig Out (GPO), the forerunner of the Gathering of Woodcarvers (GOW).

Those of you that may wish to send a card to the family may contact me  
OFF LIST for the address.

Terry,  we're going to miss you.   Semper Fi !!
