Thank you Bill for your many years of service via the woodcarver list and 
otherwise.  You have been an inspiration to me and many others and although 
you are passing the torch for managing the list I hope to continue to use it 
to share your expertise and assistance.  I am also very pleased with your 
choice of Matt Kelley as your successor.  Although he might not know it, 
some years ago Matt helped me get started in carving via my joining one of 
his friendship cane groups - what a challenge it was to get that little 
carving done and sent out each month!  I later had the good fortune to meet 
Matt via our attending a carving class with Ivan Willock.  Thanks Matt for 
being willing to takeover this additional service to the carving community. 
Like it is and has been for Bill, your service is very much appreciated.
