With the List Owner's approval:

The Lancaster County WoodCarvers is pleased to announce a Carve

Pete LeClair, Jan Oegema, Bob Stadtlander, or Don Dearolf.

Pete, author of three books, Carving Caricature Heads & Faces, Carving
Caricature Figures from Scratch and Carving Caricature Busts, is a
retired Operating Engineer, living in Gardner, Massachusetts. He began
carving caricatures in 1973. In 1978 he started teaching carving in
the adult education system in the city of Fitchburg, MA. In 1990 he
started showing his caricatures at woodcarving shows, which led to
requests to teach seminars throughout this country and Australia.

Jan is from Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. Jan is a wonderful teacher -
he's talented, patient, and has a great sense of humour.

Bob Stadtlander, a resident of Wellsville, New York, has been carving
since 1990. He is mostly self taught, but has taken several courses
offered by other well known carvers. He specializes in relief carving,
mostly in wood 2" thick or less. Robert’s fascination for woodcarving
started at a very young age, however after being influenced by his
family’s participation in the woodcarving world, he started carving as
a hobby. After carving for approximately fifteen years, Robert now
specializes in scenic relief carving relying on shadow, light, and
perspective to give his carvings a life-like feel.

Bob’s website is http://www.stadtlandercarvings.com/index.htm

Bob will be leading a seminar on Relief Carving.

Don is a member of the Lancaster County WoodCarvers. Don has been a
Caricature Carver. Over the last two years Don has lead several
seminars for the Lancaster County WoodCarvers and at the Cherry Ridge
NorthEast WoodCarvers Round Up. These seminars have demonstrated his
teaching skills on top of his carving skills and his creativity.

Don will be leading a seminar on caricature carving of perhaps a Amish
man.
