Gord,
You mentioned the Ontario Wood Carver's Association.  I've been meaning to join for a couple of years now (one of those jobs that just don't get done - see reference to post office in past correspondence).  My memory was jogged by one of their semi-monthly publications at the carving museum in Windsor last week so I downloaded the application and now all I have to do is complete it and put it in the mail.  One step closer.
I enjoyed the exchange on sharpening;  seem to always learn something from the way others do things.  Thanks
