[Woodcarver] Light plate switches

I am wanting to carve a whole series of light plate switch covers for my
house.  Would anyone know where I could get some instructions (template) for
making the light plate switch covers from wood before starting the carving?
Any pre-made covers are far too thin and uniform shaped for the carving and
no variety of wood.  Kate
