[Woodcarver] Light plate switches

Did you ever try to start a campfire with a spark? You would need very fine material- like fluff- to catch from a spark. I understand the need for caution, but this seems like overkill to me.

Buying the metal switchplate cover and layering over seems like the easiest solution, but I have another that may work. If there is a small printing shop around that uses/used offset printing they may have some old used offset sheets. They are of thin aluminum that is easy to form. I used to get them for 25 cents.
If not that- I think that the big box hobby shops have other thin sheet metals that maybe could work.
