[Woodcarver] OT- shipping costs for the little guy

Larry- there is one other tiny factor. I live way out in the boonies, and we don't go to town much- like every 2 weeks or so. I cannot put the book into the mailbox for pick-up unless the mailing label with postage printed online is affixed. So if I want to send something over a few ounces I have to travel to the post office and that is a 20 mile round trip.
I have also heard some/many horror stories from other small time vendors like myself who have gone totally to Priority because of extremely long delivery times- measured in weeks, and lost parcels with other methods. I have considered making more than one delivery option- now it is easy for me to do that- before it was nearly impossible.
First-Class Mail International Large Envelope is the cheapest alternative, at $8.36, and delivery time "varies"
Priority Mail International (including Canada) Flat-Rate Envelope costs $10.95. Delivery time is 6-10 days.
You pay $2 more for the book in Canada, so the savings would be $.59- with less certain delivery time.
So I offer just one choice, but if you can come up with a better alternative please let me know.
