Doug, I use an electric etcher with a sharpened point. The etchers can be found in any hobby shop or hardware store and priced from $10 to $20...

Hi gang,

I need to find a new way to sign my carvings. I want to use a marker of some
type. I've tried using a v-tool and burning in my name and don't like
this
approach.

I've tried Sharpie permanent markers and the Micron markers. Both of these
run whenever I seal them with Deft or Krylon. Also the Micron's seem to
engrave on the wood rather write on the wood and stop functioning after a
couple of uses.

What do you use ??

Thanks !!!

Doug Evans
