[Woodcarver] Qustion on signing carvings

Hi Doug,

In issue 13 of Carving Magazine I have an article on signing and engraving
your carvings. The method that I use mostly is a Dremal engraver (model 290)
or an ACE Hardware engraver (number 24615), both selling in the $10 area. It
comes with 2 tips, high-speed steel and carbide. I grind the tips to a sharp
point on about 15-degree taper. It works like a knife to engrave the wood
yet has the control of a pencil. In the article I show lettering in black
walnut as small as 1/16-inch.

I use the high-speed steel tip for engraving wood and the carbide tip for
metal and glass.
