Ahh, so back to my question. Few responses but several bad jokes. I have
tried the Woodcraft eggs and their supply is limited and I did not care for
the wood. Len Dillon use to have some good ones !!

I'm looking for smaller eggs to make a few figure puppets for my wife's
class at school from Ross Oar's new book.

If I can find the ostrich eggs, I have a couple of ideas, I want to try out.
I'd like to find the supplier the Dayton Carvers use for their competition.

Doug,  just what are you planning to carve, once you find some #1 quality
basswood eggs?
