Hi there fellow woodworkers. I've just posted the start of a new wood carving blog and thought that some of you may be interested in seeing how it goes. So far, so good- but I could mess it up at any time. 
I have posted the newer post at the top so you need to scroll down to see the first entry. 
I will show the goofs as well as the good parts and you will see how the goofs are 'fixed'. It may become a totally abstract figure instead of a realistic interpretation- or it may become an expensive piece of firewood. You may want to subscribe to the blog since I will not be posting here when I update it. This one will take a lot of work and a long time. I'd like to have it done for a show in 7 weeks, but that may not be reasonable.
Suggestions and comments are welcome on the blog-
