Hi Donna and all, Just wanted to share a little something. What I thought was very interesting to me personally was that when I typed "carving pinocchio pattern" (without the quotes) into google and clicked on images and started looking through them for a pattern, lo and behold, there was a pic of me and my grandfather on pg 5. It was just so cool. LOL It was from a page on my web where I had mentioned that in the beginning of my carving career the only woodcarver I had really heard of was Geppetto. Many of the newbies may find this page interesting as it is the story of how I started woodcarving.

Maura- thanks for that interesting link. I was taken back to my youth when going into my grandparents attic and reading their old Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines was my pleasure. I swear that a goodly percentage of my knowledge base comes from that reading.
