Merry Christmas to you also Gary.
I don't see you carving a Tecumseh, Martin Luther King Jr or a generic figure such as a Canadian Voyageur a Zulu or any other real thing. For me you should carve something mythical such as a Wizard, a dragon or some other imaginary beast.
Keep smiling
Doug

Hi all, I first would like to wish all of you, a happy holidays and the best for 2010, second I am at a loss and need some suggestions ref a Basswood log I have, its stands about 5 ft tall with a width of 2 ft. I would like to do a full standing figure but I can't make up my mind between a prominent figure from history such as Tecumseh, Martin Luther King Jr and so on or a generic figure such as a Canadian Voyageurs or Zulu ? any ideas? This project by the way is just for fun and not a custom order. I am just looking for suggestions thanks agan.
