Whoops! That should have said spirit face. I guess you know where my mind
was at. :-)

Corey:

Your bark face looks good! You have certainly done well in your first year
of carving.

I just finished an article for carving magazine of a wood spirit in
cottonwood bark. I wrote another one a while back but the photographs were
not up to par. I'm hoping this one works out. Spirits are so much fun to
carve.

Well it's been exactly one year since I began carving. As I have said before
I have enjoyed carving so much more than any hobby I have ever had. Thanks
to all of the folks that have helped me out! Here is my latest carving, a
new woodspirit that I hacked out today :) It's carved on the corner of a 1
1/2 x 1 1/2 x 6 inch long basswood stick. Finished in tinted oil and satin
lacquer. Thanks all for looking at my crap for the last year and looking
forward to learning much more from all of you! You can check the woodspirit
out here:
