Corey:

I just finished the article today. It will go in the mail tomorrow. I have
checked my photographs on my home printer and they are clear this time. I
think the magazine should be happy with the article.

I read what Will wrote and I tend to agree with him 100%. I thought your
first spirit was very good for a new carver but this last one was much
better. It had better flow.

If my article gets published let me know what you think. I'm looking for
the truth so I can do better on my next attempt.

Thanks Loren! I was reading on the WCM site that there was going to be a
woodspirit in the new issue, didn't realize it was your article. Looking
forward to it Loren!

Your bark face looks good! You have certainly done well in your first year
of carving.

I just finished an article for carving magazine of a wood spirit in
cottonwood bark. I wrote another one a while back but the photographs were
not up to par. I'm hoping this one works out. Spirits are so much fun to
carve.

Well it's been exactly one year since I began carving. As I have said before
I have enjoyed carving so much more than any hobby I have ever had. Thanks
to all of the folks that have helped me out! Here is my latest carving, a
new woodspirit that I hacked out today :) It's carved on the corner of a 1
1/2 x 1 1/2 x 6 inch long basswood stick. Finished in tinted oil and satin
lacquer. Thanks all for looking at my crap for the last year and looking
forward to learning much more from all of you! You can check the woodspirit
out here:
