[Woodcarver] Basswood in Aust

Hello Jay & Peter

Thank you very for you replay about Basswood in Australia,
I must confess that i am new to Woodcarving, yet i have been working with timber all my life, as i was a Carpenter in my working life, I am now retired but can't give timber away 
I know about Huon and Hoop  pine som buddy told me about Jacaranda  Camphor laurel and Mango 
I live in Queensland at the Gold Coast
