Happy New Year Jean and thanks for the kind words. Rev Paul is missed by
many of us. During the holidays and challenging times I often think of him.
I keep in touch with Lynn Diel and he has expressed the same feelings. Paul
had carving talent but like most of us, we are our own worse critics and
always striving and sometimes struggling to improve our skills.

 

Please stop by any time you can at an event or anytime in the Detroit or
Harrison (cottage) area.

Thank you for the lovely Christmas card with pictures of your family and new
grandchild.  My dear Paul would be very happy for you!  I appreciate your
continuing to remember me as well.  I have even thought of attending some of
the wood carvers events just to see some of Paul's friends in this part of
his life.  He truly wanted to learn to carve as well as all of you - had all
the tools and desire but lacked a really good teacher since George
Keilhoffer (sp?) was called home.  May our Lord continue to bless your
lovely family and your business...and your carving!  Jean A. McCain
