I'm back, my daughter has a new name, my wife and I have a new son-in-law
and now we look forward to a second one in October.  The wedding was
absolutely fantastic...everyone had a great time at the reception and the
after reception party.

Looks like I missed some great threads while I was "preoccupied".  Thank you
everyone for the kind comments.  The cake topper impressed a lot of people
at the wedding reception.  Not to slight any of them, but praise from
woodcarvers carries a little more "umph" for me <G>.

        The piece is somewhat of a rip off of the Willow Tree
figures except the arms are more stylized,  The hair style will be Laura's
at the wedding, and the
 groom's foot ware is a pair Air Jordan Sixteens
(Ryan's a "sneaker freak").
