Maura, I hope you'll post something beside it that will show it's gigantic
size! I'll look forward to seeing it.

Wow! I looked on your website and found the sacred cod that you said was 2
feet in length. That was really impressive, but 5 feet?????? and 50
pounds? Wow, I think I might have to agree.....that might qualify you as a
crazy carver! But you're right, it will outlive all of us. I think that's
fantastic! What an accomplishment.
I'm sorry about your lack of hamburgers on the 4th....And I do have to note,
that while I was seeing replies to your message with the "crazy carver"
subject title, I personally just received this email for the first time a
few minutes ago. Wonder why?
There seem to be lots of little cyberspace gremlins interfering with my
computer these days.
Anyway, I would love to see the finished piece someday.

Yes the fish you saw was a small one I did a few years ago as a love token
from a husband to a wife for their 30th anniversary. Believe it or not, she
had always wanted it.. What I am finishing up is a full-scale replica of a
300 year old carving , 5 ft long. today I added in the top and bottom fins
and carved them out. Just a little sanding to go and it will be ready for
painting. I plan to have it done by the end of the weekend. I will post my
step by steps when it is completed.
